Shorts in a... micro version and the return of the capri trousers

While shorts probably don"t come as a surprise to you this summer season, this time they are going to be really micro! Short shorts have appeared at the shows of Gucci, Prada (here short shorts have already appeared at the show for the autumn-winter 2022/23 season), Hermes or Stella McCartney, famous for its conservatism. In the coming season, we will be wearing really short shorts. This trend is loved by Kendall Jenner, who has already been seen in micro shorts more than once. We admit it"s quite a bold trend, but designers are encouraging us to pair them with oversize blazers, jumpers or cardigans to keep the styling balanced. If micro shorts are too much for you, you can always opt for classic length shorts by such brands as Aeronautica Militare or RLX Ralph Lauren. There is also an interesting comeback with the capri trousers. This trend is already being promoted by Kendall Jenner, who wears black capri leggings and an oversize blazer. Preppy look: polo shirts and tennis skirts.

The preppy look will take a slightly different turn this season. Inspired by the style of America"s elite, it is back this year in a very holiday-inspired form. Instead of school uniforms, designers are presenting styles that are perfect for tennis or just right for a yacht. There will be plenty of pleated skirts and nautical moccasins on the streets, polo shirts, a slightly more elegant version of the T-shirt, will be most popular, as seen at this year"s Miu Miu and Gucci shows. All in white

White looks are one of the leading trends for spring-summer 2024 in fashion houses such as Acne and Chloe. Palazzo trousers, classic dresses, shirts, jackets - all items of clothing in this colour are allowed. You will find a lot of white in the offerings of Allude, Bogner or Varley. If you appreciate minimalism, elegance and freshness, white total looks are definitely the choice for you. They are a great choice for warm summer days. White shorts and a loose white shirt are a recipe for comfort and style when the heat is pouring down. Pair this look with soft sandals and big round sunglasses and you"ll exude summer energy without leaving the city.

Trendy colours: pasteLOVE

Alongside classic, muted colours, sweet pastels will be in fashion trends for spring and summer. We are moving slightly away from the dopamine dressing trend in favour of softer, subtler colours. Pastel shades of pink are unlikely to come as a surprise to anyone, but look out for peach shades, which will reign supreme this spring (Peach Fuzz was voted colour of the year by Pantone). An interesting shade of orange can be found in the latest collection by Deha. Sweatpants in this shade or a crepe jacket are ideal for everyday wear. Blue will also be the colour of the season, with appearances by Stella McCartney and Varley, among others. It"s a versatile colour that will stay with you for many seasons, so it"s worth investing in.

Floral motifs

Flowers are a permanent feature of spring trends and here there is no surprise. They will be seen above all on dresses and blouses in the coming season. Which flowers are in? At Alexander McQueen, the rose, but really all flowers are on top. You can use this motif for casual everyday looks, as well as for bigger outings such as weddings and garden parties. Flower motifs are never in short supply in collections from brands such as Camilla and Waimari.
